Unknown or Not identified Pictures
Some have names, some don't. I don't know how they fit into the family.

Back in the day, everybody with a Fulton in their family tree thought they were related to Robert Fulton, the steamboat inventor and stories passed through the generations. Our family also heard these stories. Based on the date of death of Robert Fulton and the birth dates of his children (his only son died a bachelor) compared to the birth dates of the Fulton's in my pages, I have concluded to a high degree of certainty that we are not related to him.

Also back in the day, almost everybody in the United States incorrectly thought they were related to Anneke Jan, Queen of Holland with subsequent roots to William of Orange and/or William the Conquerer. This is simply not true. First of all, she was not related to any royalty. There were some lawsuits involving the sale of huge portions of Manhattan in New York City and everybody wanted a piece of it. Fake family trees were generated to prove claims. In the end, there were no huge rewards, the suits had no merit, and the only winners were the family tree makers. Read about it HERE. Our family also was told these stories about us being "Yankee Dutch" and being related to her. Once again, we are not related.
